3D printing of decorative chandeliers for a restaurant

We want to show you another fantastically beautiful and exciting project - chandeliers for a restaurant in Rostov-on-Don!

Like stalactites hanging from the ceiling, they decorate the ceiling of the restaurant serving Caucasian and national cuisine Height 5642.

The peculiarity of the structure of the chandeliers is that the lamps are built into the reliefs of stalactites. The height of each object varies from 56 to 250 cm, and the width from 46 to 87 cm.

Like all large art objects, this one was printed from segments. Each chandelier had 15 to 160 parts. The total number of segments was about 500 pieces!

We have a lot of experience in creating large-sized parts, so the seams between the parts are very difficult to see. This was achieved thanks to the correct segmentation of the original model.

Order 3D modeling

The total printing time of the chandeliers was about 3 weeks, during this time 30 printers were working at the production!

To give the surface of the chandeliers a smooth and even surface, high-quality post-processing was required.

Painting consisted of the following steps:

1. Primary primer

2. Sanding

3. secondary primer

4. Polishing

5. Application of paintwork

6. Applying a protective varnish

We entrust this important step to our paint shop, which copes with such projects with a bang.

When the whole chandeliers were ready, they were to be sent to Rostov-on-Don.

Order 3D printing

Each chandelier was packed in separate OSB boxes, the space between the load and the box was laid with damping lodgements. It was important to get them safely. Transportation was carried out using a truck (truck).
