Creality has announced the release of its latest FDM 3D printer, a “quasi-industrial” machine called the CR-M4, with a retail price of $1099.

The new machine boasts very large dimensions of 450 x 450 x 470mm, well suited for large-scale model building, with a dual Z-axis and two support rods to reduce gantry sag and Z-wobble. Meanwhile, its dual Y-axis linear guides are made of bearing steel to improve printing accuracy and overall durability of the printer.

In addition, Creality's own two-stage all-metal "Sprite" direct-acting extruder, equipped with a 50W heating cartridge and a high-precision hot end, can completely melt high-temperature filaments at 300°C. Compatible materials include PLA, PA (nylon), heat resistant ABS, PLA wood, PLA-CF, flexible TPU and PETG.

However, perhaps the most notable feature of the CR-M4 is its multi-printer management feature, which allows users to print or monitor directly from Creality Cloud Web or from any PC on the local network. This will no doubt be of interest to anyone who runs a print farm or prints in large batches, since all systems on the local network will be able to print the same model on one command.

The CR-M4 also features 25-point auto-levelling, a 4,3-inch color touch screen, and a XNUMX-layer heated build platform consisting of a magnetic base with two pins for quick snap-in, spring steel, and PC coating.
