Local police said a 36-year-old man was detained after he sold a 3D printed submachine gun to an agent posing as the buyer. A 3D printed submachine gun was found in a man's home during a search.

Police also said the man had previously been convicted of violating gun control laws and had a ban on buying and owning guns. He was also charged with illegal arms production.

The sale of 3D printed weapons is illegal in the US. However, 3D printing technology allows people to create weapons that cannot be detected by traditional security methods such as metal detectors.

This case highlights the importance of combating the illegal production and sale of weapons, including 3D printed models. However, we, in turn, refuse users to print weapons and noted this in clause 5.9 of the offer.
