Our team became the organizer of the WorldSkills demo exam in the Prototyping competency

The exam lasted two days and consisted of three stages: modeling, design and 3D printing. It was held on the basis of the Interregional Competence Center - Technical School named after S.P. Queen. Depending on the variant, the participating students had to model the parts of a hand-held vacuum cleaner or a hand saw according to the drawings. And then print some of them on a 3D printer. 

 

The whole process was supervised, among other things, by WorldSkills interregional experts. 

Our team supplied consumables, 3D printers and tools for the job. In addition, the company's employees acted as experts and contributed to the judging and evaluation of works. 

The process used open-type 3D printers from Creality (Ender3) and closed type from Picaso3D (Designer and Designer Pro). The material used by the members is Pet-G Studia3D Filament Original white. During the work, the participants followed the safety precautions for working with 3D printers. 

We are glad that the demo exam was a success for all participants.
