The latest update of the Mango 3D software for the famous slicer was based on version 5.0 compatible with FDM. Mango 3D recently released update 5.0.2 for the Lychee Slicer, which includes new features, including support for custom filament 3D printers.

This update follows the November version 5.0 update of the popular slicing software that supports both resin and filament 3D printers. This generated notable interest in the consumer 3D printing market using filament, which had previously been predominantly controlled by Ultimaker Cura and PrusaSlicer.

With the release of Lychee Slicer 5.0.2, Mango 3D continues this trend. In addition to bug fixes, optimizations and improvements, users can now add custom profiles for filament 3D printers that were previously limited to preset settings.

The update also adds Traditional Chinese and a batch processing tool for filament 3D printers that supposedly allows you to automatically perform a few “repetitive and tedious tasks” like scaling or rotating.

Lychee Slicer is available in a free version for both FDM and resin 3D printers, as well as a paid “pro” version that offers additional features, modes, and “more advanced” tools. For full details on the release of version 5.0.2, visit the Mango 3D website.
