We publish the mechanical characteristics of 3D printed parts made of AISil0Mg alloy after our own tests.

Alloy AISil0Mg-0403 consists of aluminum alloyed with silicon with a mass fraction of up to 10%, a small amount of magnesium and iron and other minor elements. The presence of silicon in the composition makes the alloy harder and stronger than pure aluminum.

The material properties units of measurement After 3D printing Value after heat treatment
Tensile strength MPa At least 420 At least 330
